Zack Haselius, Shawn Brown, Erik Haselius winners of last three as we head into final event of league year

23 events into the 2023-24 league year and three familiar faces once again grace the top of the leaderboard.

Zack Haselius, winner of ‘Event 55’ set a course record 31 behind five aces, three of which were consecutive. Haselius was in control the entire night with only a brief scare after an OB tee shot on 17 provided some drama. 

This was Haselius’ fifth career victory and fourth of the season. He trails only Shawn Brown (6) and Erik Haselius (5) in total tournament wins for the league year.

‘Event 54’ was the Shawn Brown show. 

Brown shot a -20, 64 at Golf Zone on his way to a 5 stroke victory over Rookie of the Year favorite Mike Pendleton.

Brown’s scorecard included dual aces on 11, 13 and 14, the first time a player has aced the same three holes in both their first and second rounds.

This was Brown’s fifth career win at Golf Zone.

Erik Haselius, winner of ‘Event 53’ notched a perfect 100% BEP en route to a four stroke victory over Shawn Brown. This was only the fifth 100% BEP in Putt Craft history.

Despite the win, Shawn Brown’s victory later that same day made it difficult for Haselius to gain any ground in the ‘Player of the Year’ race.
